Q: Do I need any plug-ins or other programs to view the product information?A: The specification sheets and instruction sheets are in Adobe Acrobat Reader format. Acrobat Reader is a FREE program that allows you to open and view *.PDF files. You need Version 3.0 or above to view most of the files.
Click here to visit the Adobe download site. Be sure to download the FREE Acrobat Reader.
Q: Why do some files take a long time to download? A: File sizes of the spec and instruction
sheets vary for several reasons: the amount of graphic information
on the sheet, and whether it was taken from a scan or created electronically.
Scanned sheets (you can usually tell them by their lesser quality)
tend to have larger file sizes.
Q: There is no Specification Sheet, Instruction Sheet or IES Photometry file link on the product page. What does this mean? A: It means that that type of product data is not
available for one of the following reasons:
Specification Sheets - Some older products (particularly Track and
Decorative) do not have specification sheets. If you believe that
information is missing please contact us at Webmaster@lightolier.com.
Instruction Sheets - We are continuing to compile as many IS sheets
as possible. What you see on the system is what is currently available
electronically. If you need a sheet not on the system please contact
us at Webmaster@lightolier.com.
IES Photometry File - (a) Some products (especially older products)
are not tested and no IES file exists. If you believe this to be an
error please contact the appropriate product manager. (b) Some products
(especially Track heads and recessed accent lights) only use "Bare
Lamp Data". Photometry must be obtained from the lamp manufacturer.
Q: Why are some of the specification and instruction sheets in poor quality? A: Many older products have specification and instruction sheets that were created before we began using and keeping electronic files. As a result these sheets - which are often photocopies - had to be scanned. We have done our best to deliver the highest quality possible.
Q: How can I save my Customized Product Page to my hard drive? A: When the product page is open in your browser,
go to File, the select Save As. This will save an html file to your
hard drive that you will be able to access off line. However, if you
e-mail the page the images and drawings will be lost. Please use the
"E-mail this Page" feature on the web to send product information
pages via e-mail.
If you have any questions, suggestions
or comments please submit them to the following e-mail Webmaster@lightolier.com.
