ColorWash: Lightolier launches a new family of LED track and downlighting products
Fall River, MA - In response to increasing industry demand for LED fixtures that satisfy a variety of architectural lighting needs, Lightolier, the leader in interior lighting for over a century, has introduced the ColorWash product family. Available in recessed, track and surface mount configurations, these wall wash luminaires generate high quality white light to blend into the functional space and can also create a dramatic environment through bold, dynamic color changing capabilities.
"We're helping to expand the way energy-efficient LED technology is utilized by the architectural community with the introduction of ColorWash," said Ken Czech, Lightolier's Vice President of Strategic Product Development and Innovation. "These are true architectural products built around the unique attributes of solid-state technology."
ColorWash products incorporate TrueTone RGBA technology that continuously monitors and adjusts to ensure consistent color output with no shift over time. Lightolier's proprietary MicroBlend internal mixing optics eliminate the signature RGB color separation apparent with other color changing products.
Lightolier's ColorWash won Best of Category amongst the downlights, wallwashers and accent lights at the 2008 Lightfair International Innovation Awards. The Innovation Awards are juried by a panel of lighting industry professionals. To be eligible, products must have been brought to market during the 12 months prior to Lightfair.
